After working closely with key stakeholders to develop provincial specific guidance, Curling Alberta is pleased to release the Provincial Return to Play Guidelines.

Key points in the return to play guidance includes:

  • Building Safety (Cleanliness)
  • Guidelines for Return to Play
  • Junior and Learn to Curl Programs
  • Bonspiels, Cashspiels & Club Competitions
  • Food & Beverage
  • Customer Awareness
  • Financial Planning

The Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation (SPAR) team has advised Curling Alberta that further updates with curling specific language will be coming out in the near future. These updates will be announced as soon as possible.

To provide further clarification to the guidance, a Return to Play FAQs has been created. Clarification will continue to be provided as it becomes available from Alberta Health Services.
