Hi, I am looking to form a competitive curling team or individuals to form a team, to do the Junior spiel circuit and provincials.
I have had teams in CYCA, U15 provincials, and U18 Provincials. I have worked with Chinese teams, Korean teams, Brazilian teams, and many school groups around Calgary. I am very technical about perfecting one’s delivery, and I use video to help teach what needs to be worked on. I also think that the mental side of the game needs to be addressed at this level. I believe that the curler needs to be in the mindset of being an athlete not just a player. I also think there needs to be a summer training program to be ready for the next season. I am 19 years old, turning 20 on July 19, and have been curling since I was 11. I have attended the Alberta Rocks program in Leduc in 2017 and 2019 and was also a part of the Ellerslie Jr Curling program in 2020 and 2021. I have also curled for my school program in Irma, Alberta throughout junior high and highschool and attended the U18 school provincials in Lethbridge in 2022 as a skip with the Irma team.
I now attend the Univeristy of Alberta in Edmonton and I am looking for a team to curl with competitively. Good with Women’s or Mixed teams and willing to fill any position.
