Hello, we are looking for an semi-experienced skip or third for the men’s Fall 2021 season at the Saville curling center. Must be available either Tuesday or Thursday depending on what everyone’s schedule looks like. In 2019 we played the Tuesday night league at 8:30pm so we may be inclining towards that. The team is comprised of a bunch of guys around our 30’s and have picked up curling a couple years back after a hiatus from high school. We are easy going but would like to see our ranks increase this year and hopefully join in a bonspiel or two.
Whether you are a team looking for a curler and/or coach to join your team or a curler looking to join a team, or a member club looking to fill a vacancy, this is the place to look. Clubs and curlers are also encouraged to post buy/sell equipment and/or supplies here. The following is posted on behalf of teams, curlers and member clubs; Curling Alberta has no direct affiliation with any of the listings.

Mens – Looking for team/players
Hi, I’m a 22 year old who’s played for 12 years. I played fifth for Team Libbus in mens last year while I finished my degree and waited out the COVID season. Now that that’s done I’m looking to play full-time. I’ve previously played for the UofA U18 program with one provincial title, runner up in U21, one men’s provincial appearance, and qualified for one mixed provincials which was cancelled. I’ve played all positions except for second for multiple seasons so I’m very open to any. Currently in Edmonton, may be willing to relocate as well.

Looking for Two Female Players

We currently play front end (lead and second) but we both have experience playing third and skip (in juniors), so we would be open to any configuration for a team.
We are hoping to play in a league and some bonspiels, with the potential and desire to become more competitive.
Have a preferred club but are open to discussing other options!
If you would like more information or would like to discuss thoughts on competitiveness etc, please don’t hesitate to email!
Competative U15 Male looking for Team/Teammates
My name is Timothy and I am looking for a team for the 20-21 season. I am entering my second year of U15 eligibility. Curling is my passion and it is my goal to curl someday at a national level. I have been training at the Saville for the last two years and Sherwood Park Curling Club for the last four (currently averaging 6-8 hours per week). I have also been training one on one with Jason Ginter (currently of Team Tardy) every other week during the curling season for two years. I curled competitively with my last team for the past two seasons in the EYCA league and local and Alberta Junior Curling Tour bonspiels. I am a very respectful and positive person and I am looking to play on a team that has similar commitment and goals that I do. Though I train at the Saville Centre in Edmonton, I am available and willing to travel province-wide to Bonspiels and possibly even some practices. Previously I played mostly third or skip but I am willing to play any position as my primary goal is to be the strongest, and most well-rounded curler I can be. Technical/coaching reference available on request.
