Red Deer College wants Student Curlers

We are looking for student curlers that would like to be part of a winning tradition. The RDC campus is large enough for a student diversity, and class flexibility, yet small enough to navigate easily, and make connections with peers and profs. RDC friendly profs take the time to guide and work with our student athletes to assure their success. The RDC curling program has three teams, Mixed, Women’s, and Men’s. Our teams practice and play out of the beautiful Red Deer Curling Centre. Uniforms, brush heads, gym memberships and training programs, along with physiotherapy for those that are in need of medical care, are all part of our program with no cost to the student athlete. Our curling alumni and returning student curlers take pride in offering orientation to our campus and our city for a new student curlers. The winning tradition is led by two certified competitive coaches:
Brad Hamilton, ACAC coach of the year 2018–2019.
Eldon Raab, with 21 years competitive junior coaching, and 2011 Canadian Men’s Club Champion.
3 ACAC gold medals,
1 ACAC Silver,
2 CCAA gold medals,
1 CCAA silver medal,
1 CCAA bronze medal
in last 10 years.
