Curling Alberta Reminds Curlers to Remain Vigilant

November 2, 2020

Curling Alberta has become aware of several clubs throughout the province encountering members who have tested positive for COVID-19.  We and our member clubs remain committed to the health and safety of the curling community and have put in place a number of protocols to mitigate transmission of the disease.  Given that COVID-19 cases are on the rise, Curling Alberta wants to remind curlers and guests of our clubs of the importance of following the COVID protocols in place.  While it feels great to be back on the ice, we need to all do our part to keep our curling clubs, who are working hard to keep you safe, open. It is essential that we don’t ease up now- we encourage you to revisit your club’s policies and then do your best to follow them at every visit.

Teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie have always been a key part of curling. Let’s continue the spirit of the game by working together this season. Curling Alberta and its member clubs thank you for your continued commitment and diligence.

Visit the Curling Alberta website and Alberta Biz Connect website and contact your club for up-to-date COVID-19 protocols.
