Curling Alberta regrets to announce the cancellation of its three flagship provincial championships, which were planned for Sylvan Lake January 25 to February 5, 2021, due to Alberta’s continued state of public health emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and evolving provincial health authority directives.
The Boston Pizza Cup Presented by Best Western, the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts, and the Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship have officially been cancelled. However, Curling Alberta will still be represented at the national championships in the hub city of Calgary beginning in February. The status of Curling Alberta’s plans to name those representatives will be announced as soon as possible pending a decision by the organization’s Board of Directors.
