Curling Alberta has opened an Expression of Interest for the Curling Alberta U20 Provincial Championship at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre in Cochrane on February 23-27, 2022.
This Expression of Interest is for teams that are not currently registered for the Provincial Championship. Teams that are already registered for the Provincial Championship will maintain their spot in the competition.
Both Men’s U20 and Women’s U20 teams that are interested in competing at the Provincial Championship should submit their interest and intent to register via email to the Championship Coordinator, Michael Laderoute at [email protected] before Wednesday, January 19 at 12:00 PM (noon).
Based on the number of teams that indicate their interest and the capacity of the facility, Curling Alberta will make a decision as to whether the U20 Provincial Championship can be expanded to include all the interested teams. If Curling Alberta is able to accommodate the interested teams, teams will be sent a registration link on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 19.
Teams must register their team on Curling I/O and pay the U20 registration fee by Thursday, January 20 at 11:59 PM (midnight). Teams that do not register and pay this fee prior to the deadline will not be eligible to play in the U20 Provincial. There will be no exceptions if the fee is not paid prior to the deadline.
