University of Alberta – Pandas and Golden Bears
Golden Bears and Pandas Curling has a proud history of competitive success. In fact, beginning in 2012, when our program began to take its current form, our teams have won a total of 29 provincial or conference titles and 14 national titles between university and junior play. We have also represented Canada 10 times internationally over this same timeframe, and have come home with 8 medals (4 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze).
Golden Bears and Pandas Curling has a number of built-in attributes that make us attractive to prospective student-athletes, beginning with the fact that we are part of one of Canada’s top universities. Our curlers also benefit from top-notch coaching and sport science expertise, along with the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment at the Saville Community Sports Centre.
