Curling Alberta 50/50 Raffle

50-50's for the 24-25 season are underway

Our first 50-50 of the season is for the 2024 PointsBet Invitational! For this event, we have daily draws so be sure to buy your tickets daily and win big!

Tickets will be on sale at 8am each day and close at 9pm Wednesday and Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10pm, and Sunday the big final day will close at 6pm

Must be over 18 and in Alberta to purchase.

Rules

  1. Ticket pricing shall be:   

  1. Regular: Ten dollars ($10.00) for one (1) ticket 
  2. Discount 2: Twenty dollars ($20.00) for eight (8) tickets   
  3. Discount 3: Fifty dollars ($50.00) for thirty (30) tickets  
  4. Discount 4: One hundred dollars ($100.00) for one hundred (100) tickets   
Refunds: All online ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds for online purchases issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased online and entered the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the amount of tickets they desire to purchase.  Refunds will only be issued for ticket purchases made in-person at the event venue when the ticket-seller has made an error in selecting the correct number of tickets.  
 
The Draw: Tickets will be available for purchase for all 50/50 Licenced Event dates (September 25-29, 2024) starting at 8 AM MST. Sales will close for each draw at 9PM Sept 25 and Sept 26, 10:00 PM MST on Sept 27 and Sept 28, and 6:00 PM MST on September 29th. The draws shall take place after sales close, at approximately 9:15 PM MST on Sept 25 & 26,10:15 PM MST on Sept 27th and 28th at the Winsport (88 Canada Olympic Rd SW, Calgary, AB, T3B 5R5) on each event day except September 29th where it will take place at 6:15 PM MST. The winning ticket will be selected via Random Number Generator (“RNG”).  
 
The Prize: In each Raffle the Prize will be 50% of ticket sales. Prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions, except at the 50/50 Licensee’s sole discretion. The Prize shall be paid by cheque from the 50/50 Licensee. The designated 50/50 ticket is validation for claiming the Prize.

WINNING TICKET INFO

The holder of the winning ticket will have 48 hours from the time of the announcement of the winning ticket to present the winning ticket to the 50/50 licensee. 

The holder of the winning ticket may claim their prize by contacting the 50/50 office at [email protected] and forwarding their purchase email and a copy of their government-issued photo identification and address. Each prize claimant must provide Curling Alberta with all information required by provincial gaming regulations to claim a prize.

The prize claimant will be required to sign a Winner’s Release form that must be completed and sent back to Curling Alberta no later than than five (5) business days after his/her receipt of the release. The winner’s name will be publicized on the list of prize winners located at curlingalberta.ca/5050 as well as on corresponding social media channels and marketing materials. The prize will be distributed within 30 days of the winner delivering the winning raffle ticket, executed release, and all other required documents to Curling Alberta.

All prizes not claimed on or before the Prize Claim Expiry Date- 48 hours from the time of the announcement of the winning ticket number, will be added to one or more future prize pools at the discretion of the 50/50 Licensee, with AGLC approval. This means that any unclaimed Prizes will be redistributed by adding the amount to a future Raffle of a designated 50/50 Licensed Event.
