Hec Gervais Academic & Scholarship Foundation

The Hec Gervais Academic & Curling Scholarships have been available to young curlers since 1999. The foundation was established to honor Hec Gervais – a curling legend. Scholarship recipients mirror his accomplishments in curling and contributions to his community.

Established to reflect Hec’s values and beliefs of a strong education, competitiveness and community leadership – the foundation is made possible by the support of curlers and our cooperation with Curling Alberta.

Each year, The Hec Gervais Academic & Curling Scholarship Foundation supports Alberta’s young curlers through scholarships and funds youth curling supporting tomorrow’s legends, today.

Scholarships are awarded annually and the application deadline is midnight May 31 of the year in which you are applying.
