Curling Alberta is happy to announce that Jason Ginter will be joining its team as Education Coordinator. He will be based in our Edmonton office and his first day will be September 14, 2020.
Jason is an experienced competitive curler with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the coaching field, specializing in mental skills coaching. He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and has won two national university curling championships. Jason is also in the process of completing his Master of Coaching degree at the University of Alberta. Jason has represented our province at both the U18 Optimist International and the CIS/USports National Championships, as well as many World Curling Tour events over the past nine curling seasons. He has also assumed a leadership role as a mental skills coach for the Green & Gold Sport System over the past three years.
