Curling Canada is hosting a one-time, invitational tournament for U23 teams on the opening weekend of the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier at the Lethbridge Curling Club. The event will feature 30 Men’s teams and 30 Women’s teams in a four-day event, running from March 3 to March 6, 2022. Total cash prizes in the playoffs are $20,000 per gender. In addition to competing, all participating teams will watch the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier Wild Card game in person.
To be eligible the combined team age must not exceed 88 and players must be a minimum of 20 years old.
The entry fee is $500 per team and teams must pay their own expenses.
All age-eligible teams that are interested in participating are required to submit an application to Curling Canada before 11:59 PM EDT on December 31st, 2021.
