Date and Location Change for Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship and Women’s Last Chance Qualifier
With the recent update to the qualifying process for Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials announced by Curling Canada following the release of Curling Alberta’s calendar of events, a possible scheduling conflict has been identified which potentially impacts curlers wishing to compete in both the mixed doubles and men’s or women’s categories. As a result, a minor adjustment has been made to the previously released schedule as detailed below:
- Mixed Doubles Open Provincial Championship: December 27 – 31, 2023, hosted by the Lethbridge Curling Club. To clarify, there will be NO qualifiers
- Women’s Last Chance Qualifier: January 4 – 7, 2024, hosted by the Airdrie Curling Club
Registration for all Curling Alberta sanctioned events will open September 1, 2023, at noon.
