U15 Category Age Eligibility Clarification
It has come to our attention that the age eligibility dates published in the Competitor’s Guide for the U15 category are incorrect and creating confusion. After careful consideration and with inclusivity of youth curlers in mind, we have decided to follow the published statement that U15 curlers must be ‘born on January 1, 2008, or later.’ Please note, the U15 category includes the U15 qualifiers, championship and tour point eligibility.
To clarify, the U15 Rockfest and Alberta Winter Games age eligibility is correct in the published documents, which states curlers must be 14 years of age maximum on June 30, 2023, born July 1, 2008 or later.
Next season, the U15 age eligibility will be updated to match U15 Rockfest, 14 years of age maximum on June 30, 2023, born July 1, 2008 or later.
