We are aware of a potential date conflict between the U18 Nationals and two of the U20 qualifiers and that the registration deadline may restrict teams from making the best choice for them. To ensure teams have an equal opportunity to register and compete in the U20 category, we will now allow the two U18 provincial champions (per gender) to change their qualifier location to High Prairie immediately following the championship should they also wish to compete in the U20s.
To clarify, the team is required to have entered one of the conflicting U20 qualifiers (Jasper Place/Oilfields for men or Wetaskiwin/Innisfail for women) prior to the registration deadline and would be given the opportunity to change to High Prairie to avoid the U18 Nationals date conflict immediately following the U18 Championship.
If you have already registered for the High Prairie qualifier, but you would like to change to another location due to this announcement, you can do so without penalty before the registration deadline of December 20th at noon.
