Alberta Curling Series Men’s & Women’s @ Leduc Curling Club
The first event on Alberta Curling Tour kicks off this weekend in Leduc, AB! A men’s and women’s event, provided by the Alberta Curling Series, will showcase 12 women’s teams and 8 men’s teams all weekend. Fans may recognize teams from past provincial and national competitions such as Team Walker, Team Corryn Brown, Team Harty, and Team Sturmay, among many others!
The women’s 12 team triple knockout draw begins at 3 pm on Friday with two draws to follow on Friday night, and four more on Saturday. Men’s round robin action will begin at 7 pm, with the remaining three round robin draws Saturday. All playoff action will begin Sunday. Despite a World Curling Federation points freeze, this event will still award Excel Points to all teams using the WCF-WCR’s SFM calculations.
