As of September 9, 2021, Curling Alberta is making an amendment to its team eligibility rules for all sanctioned Curling Alberta events including provincial qualifiers, provincial championships, and Alberta Curling Tour events. Curling Alberta made this decision to become consistent with the World Curling Federation’s team eligibility guidelines, and create more flexibility for curlers in these uncertain times. This change will enable teams to compete with three players, one being a spare, for any Curling Alberta sanctioned competition. Important to note, this change does not impact eligibility rules prior to September 9, 2021.
