Curling Alberta is pleased to announce that Rebecca Fradette will be joining our team as Competition Coordinator for Southern Alberta. Rebecca will be based in our Calgary satellite office and her first day was October 1, 2021.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Operations Management from the University of Saskatchewan and a certificate in Event Management from Mount Royal University. Growing up in Saskatchewan, Rebecca developed a passion for curling. She has curled recreationally in both Saskatchewan and Alberta and enjoys volunteering at curling events held in the local community. Most recently, she participated as a volunteer timekeeper for the 2021 Curling Canada Hub City event held in Calgary.
In this position, Rebecca will oversee the administration of qualifying events in Southern Alberta, ensuring they are executed with excellence. She will also assist the Competitions Working Group with developing a competitive structure for curlers of all ages and abilities in Alberta and act as a liaison between Curling Alberta and our member clubs.
