The Canada Games Council (CGC) just announced the removal of its Policy on Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccines for accredited individuals for the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island. This decision was made in collaboration with key stakeholders following a review of the policy with the Chief Public Health Office of PEI.

The Chief Public Health Office of PEI still recommends that all participants at the 2023 Canada Winter Games be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations including a booster dose within the last 6 months.
