Funding Available for Alberta Member Clubs
In partnership with Curling Canada, Curling Alberta is pleased to share a new funding opportunity to support community-based Girls Rock, presented by Scotties events.
Clubs that apply by October 18, 2026 may be selected to receive:
✅ $500 in program support funding
✅ Official Digital Start-Up Kit
✅ Event planning resources and templates
✅ Promotional materials and participant resources

🚑 Canadian Red Cross SPORTS First Responder Course
The Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta is offering a Canadian Red Cross SPORTS First Responder Course, which includes Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This training may be of interest to coaches, team staff, trainers, volunteers, officials, and others involved in sport.
