💜 Girls Rock Funding Program
Funding Available for Alberta Member Clubs
Along with our partners at Curling Canada we are thrilled to share a new funding opportunity to support community efforts to run a Girls Rock, presented by Scotties, event! Apply before the October 18 deadline, and your curling centre could be selected to receive the official Digital Start-up Kit, including all the program resources needed to execute a successful event and $500 of program support funding.

The Girls Rock Program provides funding and support to help clubs create welcoming, engaging, and empowering curling experiences for girls in their communities.
Funding may be used to support initiatives that:

Applications are now being accepted for the Competition Ice Technician Course, an advanced three-day professional development opportunity for Certified Head Ice Technicians.

🚑 Canadian Red Cross SPORTS First Responder Course
The Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta is offering a Canadian Red Cross SPORTS First Responder Course, which includes Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This training may be of interest to coaches, team staff, trainers, volunteers, officials, and others involved in sport.
