📋 Registration Season Resources
Participant waivers have been updated for the 2026-27 season to reflect the Alberta Safe Sport Complaint Mechanism (ABSSCM).

The 2026-27 Supplemental Sport Accident Insurance Policy is in effect from August 10, 2026, to August 10, 2027.

If an injury occurs during a sanctioned curling activity:
- ⚠️ Notify Gallagher within 30 days of the accident.
- ⚠️ Submit all claim documentation within 90 days of the accident.
- ⚠️ The affiliated curling club must verify the participant’s membership status before a claim can be processed.

Key Reminders
✅ Audited financial statements will be distributed approximately two weeks before the AGM.
✅ RSVP and proxy forms may be submitted or updated until 24 hours before the meeting.
✅ Clubs do not need to finalize attendance or proxy designations at this time.

🧊 Alberta Ice Technicians Continue to Learn & Lead
Earlier this month, Curling Canada hosted its first-ever Ice Technician Facilitator & Evaluator Training in Chilliwack, bringing together ice technician leaders from across Canada.
Curling Alberta was proud to have members of our new Provincial Ice Technician Team attend alongside three additional Alberta ice technicians. Participants collaborated with colleagues from across the country to share knowledge, align training standards, and strengthen ice technician education nationwide.
